We really refer to something called a technology stack when we refer to a stack. A technology stack is a crucial part of any web or mobile application development.
People refer to the term when speaking of the combination of programming languages and software underneath a development project in question. The underlying element of a web or mobile application is a technology stack.
These are the frameworks, languages, and software products that everything else is built on.
MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js combine MEAN stack technology in mobile and web applications as a group of technologies.
Some of the complex websites and web apps (responsive) have recently been powered by MEAN stacks. One of the fastest-growing open-source stack development frameworks is the MEAN stack.
It helps developers and teams to reduce the time spent on system administration with popular tools or plugins and it also enables faster deployment of web apps, websites, and APIs to concentrate on your project's complex development process.
2. Express: Back-end web application framework running on top of Node.js (sometimes referred to as Express.js).
What is the MERN Stack and why are you supposed to choose it?
A combination of technologies used to create premium web apps is the MERN stack. Multiple technologies are used to develop web apps: frameworks, libraries, databases, and more.
MERN consists of various components that are open source: MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. All components provide end-to-end support for the framework in which developers work.
1. MongoDB: An open-source database based on documents.
2. Express: Node.js's fast, unopinioned, minimalist web framework.
The stack for MERN is very similar to the stack for MEAN. The only difference here is that the MEAN stack uses Angular to create the front-end web application, but React is instead used in the MERN stack.
MEAN has been on the market for much longer than MERN, but MERN is gaining in popularity slowly. The sound and viable options are both MERN and MEAN. The final choice should, however, depend on the project's demands and the familiarity of the application developer with the technologies involved. Since both are open source and use almost the same combination of technology, our decision on whether to opt for Angular or React is all about it.
